Shakira 08 Layout

This layout took me a couple of days and alot of pouting, before I finished it. It had juice spilled on it, i burned myself several times with the hot glue gun, and I lost my scissors for 2 days. After all that I managed to pull it together to come up with this:

Although it is defanitly not what I originally planned for this page, I think it turneed out pretty decent considering I was going to throw the entire page away. The journaling tag says "Shakira McCoy 8 yrs. old". Everything else is pretty basic. For the leaves I used the pedals of green flowers. I hot glued bling in the center of my flowers to create flowers that matched the shirt she was wearing.

This LO is of my son's 1st playdate. I really like how the journaling turned out you cant tell but the words are stamped to look like building blocks.

Martha Stewart Craft Studio Class Kit- Glittering Techniques

I picked up the glittering techniques class kit by Martha Stewart today, thinking it cant be that hard. Boy was I wrong!! I really liked the idea that it came with basicly everything you need to make 4-5 cards, plus a instruction booklet explaining the different techniques. I tryed it out and i wont even show you the complete diaster I created. I literally have glitter every where! The glue was dry before I even got to sprinkle the glitter on the butterflies that I was supposed to be decorating. Glitter covered my table, me, & the floor. The only thing that wasn't covered in glitter was my butterfly. :-( I think I will just buy a glue pad and use it for stamping than glittering.

Happy Valentines Day

Well it officially Valentines Day, so Happy Valentines Day!!!! The Hubs and I were going to go to Busch Gardens for the day but its past midnight and neither of us are sllepy yet. So that probably wont happen. Plus being all huge and swollen from pregnancy, its probably best if I dont spend all day walking around a theme park. I' love to here what your plans for the day are!

I like this LO of my sister in law. Its simple but pretty, you cant really tell but the flower paper matches her background in the photo. I really need to remember to turn off the date on my camera when I photograph my LOs.

Our Blessing LO

I am working on catching up on my crafting particularly my scrapbooking. I have pictures for days, hopefully I can catch up some. Here is a LO I did for my son's birth (which was 4 yrs ago).





I can not for the life of me get good photos of my LOs . I want to get a 12x12 scanner to scan them but for the time beng pictures will have to work. Below is closer look at each side.
